What’s Included?
All Accommodation:
During the WORK/LIVE periods (6 weeks) you’ll have a private bedroom (this will give you a tranquil environment where you can concentrate on your laptop work) in a modern apartment complete with Wi-Fi and a fully equipped kitchen. During the TRAVEL periods, you’ll stay in a high standard shared guesthouse hotel or hostel.
All Transport:
Transport around the Balkans can still be a bit of a headache even in 2021. You can forget about this. Transfers are included. International flights are not included.
Likeminded Travellers:
Traveling solo is great, but not as great as traveling with a group of like-minded remote workers that love checking-out the life, nightlife, food, culture, countryside, beaches, peculiarities, and cities in new places.
Co-working Space:
You will have a hot desk, in modern co-working facilities in Bucharest, Belgrade, and Zagreb. High-speed wi-fi connection, meeting rooms as well as tea coffee making facilities. All offices are located in the best city-center locations.
Guide & Support:
An experienced, full-time Global Village Tours guide, will travel with the group for the entire 8-week tour. In addition, local guides will be joining along the route.
Great Food:
Welcome dinner and a few drinks are included at a top authentic restaurant in Bucharest, Belgrade, and Zagreb.

Optional Activities
We will have a full calendar of social and cultural events taking part locally in each city when we arrive, some will be free and some will be paid. This can be anything from an outdoor movie, cultural event, a visit to a craft brewery, or a trek outside of town for a hike. Some off-the-beaten-path and peculiar options will also be available.
The tour takes a total of 60 days in the Balkans from mid-May to mid-July 2021. 6 weeks working from state-of-the-art co-working spaces in 3 of the most happening cities (Bucharest, Zagreb, Belgrade) and 2 weeks exploring the rest of the Balkans culture, food, and coastline.
By the end of the tour, the epic journey will have led you to explore a total of 10 cities.
Engulfed by seas, mountains, rivers, cities, and beaches, the region is a boiling pot of intriguing cultures, religious diversity, and unrivaled natural beauty.
In this environment for 8 weeks in the summer, you get a chance to combine remote working with adventure. When you’re not working, you’ll be out immersing yourself in the history, culture, and day to day life of different cities.
The location (Balkans) is cheaper compared to Western European countries, and most parts of Asia. In addition, the region is incredibly laid back, with extremely friendly people, beautiful weather, amazing scenery, and coastline.
